LinkedIn Policy
PRIVACY POLICY PURSUANT TO ART. 13-14 OF REGULATION EU 2016/679
Introduction and details of the Controller
This policy governs the processing of personal data on the company page LinkedIn "Syn-Bios S.p.A." by Syn-Bios S.p.A. a socio unico, in the part relating to data processing and carried out by the same, under joint control pursuant to Art. 26 of EU Regulation 2016/679 with LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.
This policy is in addition to and does not replace the policy of the social media platform LinkedIn (available at https://it.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?), offered by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, which hosts this page and its contents, which continues to apply in relation to the processing of data carried out by the social media platform, to which Syn-Bios S.p.A. a socio unico is not a party.
This policy is in addition to the Regulations for the use of this social media page, which govern the rules for lawful interaction between users on the page in question and the publication of content.
Categories of personal data
As administrator of the company page LinkedIn "Syn-Bios S.p.A.", Syn-Bios S.p.A. a socio unico may process common data deriving from user interaction, the scope of which depends on the degree of interaction of users within the page: name, surname, LinkedIn profile image, curriculum vitae, employment data (profession, employer, etc.), personal data deriving from computer sessions.
Users are fully responsible for the content they publish.
Similarly, Syn-Bios S.p.A. a socio unico may process personal data of third parties for the purpose of creating and uploading content to the website (for example images, names), which will thus be disseminated on the web, subject to obtaining consent and/or release where required by law.
Purposes and legal bases of processing
The processing of users' personal data in relation to the social media page will be carried out in accordance with the following purposes:
- management and moderation of the LinkedIn page "Syn-Bios S.p.A.";
- receipt of applications for job offers published, with the possible attachment of the candidate's CV.
In relation to the purpose referred to in point a), the legal basis identified is as follows:
- the processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Controller in promoting its services and brand through social media, pursuant to Article 6, par. 1, letter f) of Regulation EU 2016/679;
In relation to the purposes referred to in point b), the legal basis identified is as follows:
- the processing is necessary in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract pursuant to Article 6, par.1, letter b) of Regulation EU 2016/679.
Methods of processing
The processing of personal data on the page is carried out using IT methods, wholly or partially automated, bound by the technical specifications made available by the platform, to which Syn-Bios S.p.A. is unrelated.
Source of the data
All data is collected directly from the data subject or from social media, in accordance with the relevant terms of use.
Recipients
First name, last name, LinkedIn profile image and employment-related data (profession, employer, etc.) may be disclosed, strictly in relation to the purposes referred to in point a) and in relation to the degree of interaction of users within the page, to the following subjects or categories of subjects:
- other LinkedIn users.
The processing of the data in question will take place within the LinkedIn page "Syn-Bios S.p.A.".
If necessary to perform specific services, comply with legal obligations or protect rights infringed by users' activities in violation of the regulations, users' personal data may be disclosed to third parties, such as third-party organisers of activities, legal advisors, the postal police, etc.
Data retention period
The retention period for data published on the page depends on the policy of the social media platform in question: https://it.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?
Users retain the right to request, where they are unable to do so themselves, the removal of content or the deletion of personal data insofar as this relates to the privileges of the page administrator.
Transfer of data abroad

Rights of the data subject and contact details of the Controller
Within the limits of the processing carried out by Syn-Bios S.p.A. a socio unico, please note that users, who are considered data subjects for the purposes of Regulation EU 2016/679, may exercise their rights under Articles 15-22 of Regulation EU 2016/679 by writing to the page administrator.
The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Autorità Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Similarly, these rights are also available to any data subject who becomes aware of the publication of their personal data in violation of the Regulation or who intends to exercise their rights in relation to such data.
